The fastest, easiest way to order is directly from our Internet book catalog.

"Buy Now" buttons for each book link to our secure (encrypted) system, so it's safe, fast, and easy for you to order and pay by credit card.

The process is simple and intuitive.  While you're selecting the books you want, you may use any "View Cart" button to modify or complete your order:

E-Mail Orders

Another way is to send us a simple and informal e-mail order.  Let us know the book(s) you want and your mailing address, and we'll send you a "courtesy invoice" by return e-mail, confirming the total price, including shipping. Click here to send your e-mail order.

Then you can make payment with your credit card, or send us a check or money order, and we'll ship promptly.  We'll acknowledge payment with an e-mail note.  We also let you know the day we send your purchase, so you can watch for it to arrive.

Postal Mail Orders

We're also happy to accept your order by postal mail.  Send a note listing the book(s) you want, with your mailing address, and include a check or money order.  You only need to pay actual postage costs, as shown in our book catalog descriptions.  Each book listing in our catalog notes the postage required.

If you send a money order, we'll usually ship your book(s) the next business day.  If you pay with a check, please allow a few days for it to clear our bank.

If you include your e-mail address with your postal mail order, we'll confirm receipt of your payment, and tell you the date we ship.  If you order via Priority Mail, we'll also send you the Delivery Confirmation number, so you can track your order on the Internet, or by telephone.

We charge only actual postal costs--there's never a "handling" charge.

We prefer to ship via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation.  The flat rate for this service (for most books) will be $4.60.  With the USPS Delivery Confirmation number you can track your package on the Internet, via e-mail, or via a toll-free number.

If you're buying multiple items, we can consolidate your shipment and send everything together. As many as 8 or 10 books can sometimes be sent by insured Priority Mail for about $9.15.  Let us know the various titles and ISBN numbers, and we'll let you know the exact cost for shipping everything together.

For very heavy books, we also offer "Media Rate" shipping with Delivery Confirmation.  This service is much slower than first class mail.  Inquire if you prefer this mode. 

Express Mail (overnight service) is also available.  Please inquire.

In most cases we'll recommend shipping your books via Global Priority Airmail, which is now available in about 50 countries worldwide.  This service costs only a bit more than regular airmail, and is much faster and more secure.

How To Pay

Payment must be made in U.S. dollars (except via PayPal, where we also accept Pounds Sterling and Euro payments).  You may pay with your credit card, using PayPal.  Send us your book order list, and we'll send you a PayPal "courtesy invoice" that includes exact shipping charges.

Most of our customers also find MoneyGram (or similar) money orders convenient.  Make your payment payable to "Rocket Science Institute, Inc."  Wire transfers directly to our bank are also accepted, but have a bank-imposed US$ 20.00 surcharge. 

If you send cash payment, be sure to register your letter!

Preferred Shipping

You pay only actual costs for postage and shipping--there is no "handling" charge. 

We recommend Global Priority Airmail (for most books to most destinations): $11.00.

Very heavy books can be sent via Air Parcel or Surface Mail, which is cheaper, but takes many weeks to reach most destinations.
